Adopting a GJOYful Artist Bear
To adopt a bear from our website simply go to the bear's page by clicking on the bear's thumbnail image in our Bear Shop, then use the paypal Button options to select either "with postage in Australia" if you are in Australia, or "with postage Worldwide" if you are not in Australia. Postage & Packaging...
We do post worldwide.
We are located in Australia & we post as soon as possible after we receive cleared payment.
Our bears are packaged in a box with tissue-paper and/or bubble-wrap. All bears are sent via Australia Post with a tracking number. We use Registered Post and Australia Post Pack & Track to post our bears, depending on where the bear will be traveling to.
We post all bears with tracking numbers so we are able to track the bear during transit ~ if you require parcel insurance you will need to pay for this as an extra cost. Please note that we have never had a bear go missing & all bears have arrived to their new homes safely and with ease.
Your country's duty/import/customs taxes are not our responsibility. If these apply to you it is up to you to research and contact your customs office for more information. If a bear becomes held in your customs office the charges associated with this situation are your responsibility. We cannot be held responsible for these charges.
Customs and import taxes are often collected when you pick up your parcel from your post office, please do not confuse this as an extra postal cost or charge.
Refunds & Damages
We do not offer refunds for a change of mind, however if your bear becomes damaged within the first year after you have purchased it we will repair the bear (if it can be repaired and ONLY if damage was NOT caused by weather, extensive force in the way of throwing or ripping, or by an animal) free of charge ~ you will only need to pay postage costs. Please be gentle with your bears, and keep in mind they are collectible Artist bears & are not suitable for children under the age of 14. Please contact us is your bear has become damaged & we will see what we can do.
We are very proud to inform you that no one has ever contacted us with the need to have a bear repaired. Our bears are made with love and care, every precaution is taken to ensure they will last for generations to come as long as their owners take due care, remembering they are collectibles.
